Boots of Matriarchal Authority

These boots increase in elevation in proportion to the wearer's current confidence in their own authority (they've been known to become positively stilt-like when worn by certain aristocrats). When kicking or stepping on another living creature, they cannot deal lethal damage, but will inflict a dull all-over pain that immobilizes the target. If anyone within line of sight of the boots utters any variation of the phrase “step on me, Mommy/Queen/Boss”, the wearer is compelled to comply, and will do so with great pleasure. CAUTION: These boots should only ever be worn by strongly female-identifying individuals. Non-female wearers have been known to become caught in a loop of continually attempting to step on themselves.
