Amulet of Elemental Allegiance

This amulet has a dial that can be set to one of the four classic elements, granting the wearer affinity for that element. The wearer is calmed and reassured by the presence of the set element, exposure to the set element or magical effects that deal damage using the set element cannot harm the wearer, and any spell such as petrification that would transform the wearer into the set element will instead heal and invigorate them. This effect extends to the mind, and the wearer finds themself in immediate allegiance with any creature that typifies the set element, such as a wind spirit or fire-breathing dragon, and will cheerfully obey any and all requests made by such a creature, as long as those requests will not directly harm them or their allies.
